How to PORT your existing Number to JIO?

Mobile number portability for JIO is active now.

A good news for all the mobile users. This is the time of Telecom revolution for India. Till now JIO is the leader among them. Being a leader JIO is not stopping the general business policy. So it's now starting MNP(Mobile Number Portability) in association with Telcos.

So be prepared to Port your number from any service provider to JIO to enjoy high speed internet in fair price & free call services.

Here is how you can port from others to JIO.
First you have to get your UPC(Unique Porting Code) no. from current service provider. That you can get by sending sms to 1900 with PORT <Your No>.
Then you will get a UPC from 1901. Keep that private with you.

Then you have to get the bar code in MY JIO app. 

 After that you can go to any Reliance Store or JIO Xpress store & submit both the codes with your documents(Address & ID proof).
Then you are done, you will get a new SIM of JIO & have to wait for 7 days to complete the process of porting. You have to approx. Rs.19 for this.

After 7 days your previous SIM will lost its signal , that is the time to insert your new JIO sim. After approx. 2 hours your JIO sim will be active. Now you can enjoy free JIO services.
