Dell Inspiron: Dell launches the world's first 17-inch 2-in-1 laptop
Dell’s latest 17-inch laptop is also a tablet that’s too heavy to hold. If Dell's new Inspiron laptops are any indication, there's still a market for desktop replacement notebooks. The Inspiron 7000 line, introduced at Computex in Taiwan, now includes a 17-inch behemoth that Dell claims is the world's first 2-in-1 laptop of its size. Typically, when a company says that a computer is a 2-in-1 that means it’s both a tablet and a laptop. With Dell’s new Inspiron 7000, that’s still true, but on a scale we haven’t seen before and it might be a bit much (in terms of weight) for some. The company also updated its 11-inch, 13-inch, and 15-inch Inspiron 2-in-1 models, as well as its 15-inch and 17-inch Inspiron 5000 conventional notebooks.
