Filmmaker Karan Johar says very few actors can rake in the moolah at the box office. When asked if there was a limited choice of lead actors, he said at a program here this evening, "Yes, it is a big problem. We have hundreds of films to make and there are six (actors) who can sell your film. If you take someone new then you won't get budget as the film won't get proper satellite or music rights, or proper release overseas. If you make a small film then you can take a chance." After there was much talk about roping in Salman Khan and Aamir Khan to remake their cult classic film  Andaz Apna Apna , Phantom Films has actually gone ahead and put action to words. The rights of the film is with one Preeti Sinha, who is the daughter of producer Vinay Sinha who also financed the original. According to  Mumbai Mirror , she has given the rights to Phantom Films and will be collaborating with them on the project. A source tells  Mirror , "It will be an in-house director at the helm, if not Vikas Bahl, it will be Vikramaditya Motwane." Unfazed by the failure, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has started work on the third installment of his original claim to fame--Gangs of Wasseypur. The director has asked writer-actor-turned-director Zeishan Qadri to write the film's script. "After watching my directorial debut, in Meeruthiya Gangsters , Anurag sir asked me to write and direct Wasseypur 3," Qadri told Hindustan Times. When asked about the plot in his mind, Qadri said he planned to take the real story forward this time. "Wasseypur 2 ended in 2002. Now, we will take the story forward as per the developments in the region till 2015," he said. The family court on Monday granted divorce to yesteryear star Karisma Kapoor and business tycoon Sunjay Kapur on Monday. With the court’s permission, the almost 13-year-old marriage of the couple came to an end. A lawyer involved in the case on condition of anonymity said that the family court granted divorce after it was informed that the matter has been resolved amicably at the Supreme Court. According to the lawyer, the court was also informed that the terms had been settled. Another lawyer while talking to this paper confirmed the terms of consent on which the divorce is based. “The custody of the children will be granted to Karisma Kapoor while Sunjay Kapur would get visitation rights during the summer and winter vacations and also during Diwali. A flat in Khar, which is currently in the name of Sunjay Kapur, would be transferred in Karisma’s name. Along with that, Sunjay will have to buy bonds worth Rs 14 crore which would attract interest of up to Rs 10 lakh a month an

Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra, who became the faces of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan might feature in its upcoming campaign as the government tries to impart new energy into Modi cabinet's mission for national cleanliness.  Reportedly, the government has reached out to the actors for featuring in radio advertisements on Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani's radio channels, and for their participation in a short promotional film which would soon be produced to raise awareness about the mission.  "Bachchan and Chopra have assured their time for any promo film we make, for free," a senior official told ET on the condition of anonymity.
