How Horrible is to Work inside a Massive Mosquito Factory

Image
The Zika virus - a virus transmitted by mosquitoes - has taken over many countries. It started in Brazil, and has rapidly moved to other countries such as  Puerto Rico ,  Cuba ,  Venezuela , the  United States , and  more. Zika has been linked with birth defects, such as microcephaly - a neurological disorder that causes babies to be born with small craniums and limited brain development.  The untreatable virus has caused many deaths and has even convinced some top athletes headed to the Olympics in Rio this August to withdrawal from the competition. The virus may be untreatable, but researchers are attempting to find another way to stop the devastating virus. A mosquito lab in China - the largest mosquito factory in the world - is working to end the Zika virus. Getty photographer Kevin Frayer recently visited the factory. What do you think you can do this much job for your research.

See how Chrome beat out its competitors to become the most popular browser in the world

Image
There was a time when Microsoft's Internet Explorer ruled the world. That doesn't mean that everyone liked it, but Microsoft's firm commitment to the web browser meant it made its way onto most computers. But as these maps, created by Jody Sieradzki at Dadaviz show, there's only so long you can prop up a product that most people despise. These maps show the change in popularity of internet browsers from 2008 to '15, as Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer fought to see who would emerge as the web browser of the future. You will also glad to know that the chrome means the own browser idea was of the current CEO of Google! Mr. Sundar Pichai. Wish to download Chrome Click Here

Udacity, an online learning portal that is changing the $3bn Indian market on its head !

India's home-grown institutes may be known world over for the high quality education they provide, however, there's still a wide gap the current education set-up in the country is not fulfilling, and that is to make every Indian student job ready. Despite students graduating from some of the best universities, Corporates today feel candidates who come to them are lacking what the industry wants.  An Aspiring Minds-Business Insider joint survey  earlier this year found out that companies feel there is huge void in what students have been taught in universities and what is expected from them on-the-job. The survey also noted that talent crisis is not particularly a situation that plagues India, but exists worldwide. 61 per cent companies that run businesses in other parts of the world said the problem of finding the right talent for their organizations exists across markets. It's a challenge employers are facing globally today.  However, it's also true that this gap ha

How to deal with Zakir Naik? Not by force, but with a perception-based counter-narrative

Image
Can a phenomenon be eliminated by force? No. That is what the experts feel about televangelist preacher Zakir Naik, who has virtually achieved a phenomenal status. According to them, by controlling law and order and using the state machinery, the popularity gained by Naik can't be erased. As per the confession of one of the militants involved in the Dhaka terror attack, the Mumbai-based Muslim preacher Naik, through his narratives on Islam, motivated him into terrorism Counter-terrorism analysts believe in the need for a counter-narrative based on perception management, to eliminate the growing influence of Naik and his ilk on young minds.Way ba ck in the nineties, stock market broker Harshad Mehta, who was known as the 'Big Bull', became a phenomenon for that generation. But once his stock manipulations and financial crimes became public knowledge, a negative perception got created against him. The phenomenon, thus, got shattered. The key is to use perception

Bin Laden's son threatens revenge against US

Image
Al-Qaida's media arm has released an audio in which the purported son of the late al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden threatens revenge against the US for assassinating his father. In the video released by As-Sahab yesterday, Hamza bin Laden tells Americans that they are accountable for the decisions of their leaders. He says al-Qaida will continue waging jihad, or holy war, against the US in response to its "oppression" of Muslims. "If you think that your sinful crime that you committed in Abbottabad has passed without punishment, then you thought wrong," he says. Bin Laden was killed in a May 2011 US raid at his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. His son's whereabouts is not known. Analysts speculate that he may be preparing to take over leadership of al-Qaida. From Source it is found " In a letter confiscated in the raid, written by bin Laden and addressed to his "Chief of Staff"  Atiyah Abd al-Rahman , bin Laden mentions h

Why Nokia Phones are not Preferred these Days.

During the press conference to announce NOKIA being acquired by Microsoft, Nokia CEO ended his speech saying this “we didn’t do anything wrong, but somehow, we lost”. Upon saying that, all his management team, himself included, teared sadly. Nokia has been a respectable company. They didn’t do anything wrong in their business, however, the world changed too fast. Their opponents were too powerful. They missed out on learning, they missed out on changing, and thus they lost the opportunity at hand to make it big. Not only did they miss the opportunity to earn big money, they lost their chance of survival. The message of this story is, if you don’t change, you shall be removed from the competition. It’s not wrong if you don’t want to learn new things. However, if your thoughts and mindset cannot catch up with time, you will be eliminated. Conclusion: 1. The

Indian IT Professionals Will loose their job..

Image
Image Credit: Bing     A bipartisan group of two US lawmakers has introduced in the House of Representatives a legislation, which if passed by the Congress would prevent Indian companies from hiring IT professionals on H-1B and L1 work visas. Since the revenue model of majority of big Indian IT companies is heavily dependent on H-1B and L1 visas in the US, such a bill is likely to have a major impact, if not sound a death knell, on their businesses.   The ‘H-1B and L-1 Visa Reform Act of 2016’ introduced by Democratic Congressman Bill Pascrell from New Jersey and Republican Dana Rohrabacher from California would prohibit companies from hiring H-1B employees if they employ more than 50 people and more than 50 per cent of their employees are H-1B and L-1 visa holders. Before the bill is signed into a law by US President Barack Obama, it needs to be passed by the Senate, wherein it has not been tabled so far. Notably, the two sponsors of the bill come from the two Amer

Man Released After Spending 27 Years In Prison For A Murder He Didn’t Commit

Who do you think is or was the unluckiest person on earth? Kwame Ajamu was just 17 when he was convicted of murder in the killing of a Cleveland money-order salesman. On Tuesday, Ajamu, now 57 and out on parole since 2003, wept after a judge cleared all charges against him. “I’m so happy today that this battle had come to an end,”  Ajamu said , according to Reuters. Cuyahoga County Judge Pamela Barker stepped down from her bench to give Ajamu a hug,  the Associated Press reported . The  case against Ajamu , formerly known as Ronnie Bridgeman, began to fall apart after a key witness recanted his testimony decades after the conviction. In 1975, two people  had attacked Harold Franks  with acid, and one of the people shot him. A third person drove a getaway car. A 12-year-old boy, Eddie Vernon, served as the state’s main witness in the case, and a jury convicted Bridgeman (as he was known at the time), along with his brother Wiley Bridgeman, then 20, and Ricky Jackson, 1

How do India deal with Pakistan when Pak says, they can blast New Delhi just by pressing the button?

Image
Here is the information that tells about the dealing of India with such dialogues. As soon as the first nuclear warhead hits the Indian Mainland, India’s policy of ‘no first use’ goes out into the drain. After a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security, the government issued a statement on January 4, 2003, spelling out India’s nuclear doctrine and the operational of its nuclear deterrent. The salient features of the government statement included the following: India will build and maintain a credible minimum deterrent; follow a no-first-use posture; and will use nuclear weapons only “in retaliation against a nuclear attack on Indian territory or on Indian forces anywhere .” It was also affirmed that nuclear retaliation to a first strike will be massive and designed to inflict unacceptable damage;  retaliatory attacks will be authorized only by the civilian political leadership through the Nuclear Command Authority; nuclear weapons will not be used against nonnuclear weapo

RAW (Research & Analysis Wing), What you know about this?

Image
Things you should know about RAW(research & Analysis Wing) the CIA of India. LOGO of RAW 1)   The first chief of R&AW, Mr. R N Kao was so secretive that even today,  only 2 photographs of him exist in the media. Till his death only 10 people in the country knew where he lived. 2)  Pakistan installed anti-aircraft guns at their nuclear research facility at Kahuta because  they feared RAW would do the same thing to their facility what the Mossad did to the Syrian reactors. 3)  The ex-governor of Jammu & Kashmir, "Gary" Saxena surprised the then CM Farooq Abdullah and many of his ex-colleagues by revealing he was a  RAW agent before he resigned. Very few people knew that he was a RAW agent. 4)  Ajit Doval  lived undercover for six years in Pakistan. Was Narendra Modi’s speech at US Congress composed by himself or by IAS Officers?

Image
Every great speech involves two things: Quality of the scripts. How Speaker is presenting himself/herself with that script. Let’s come on a basic thing: Absolutely Speeches are composed by IAS Officers & Research team, Because it is the thing of Country, PM is representing whole country not any specific things or party. Research team compose speeches after research from every prospect and grounds so that can be beneficial for the Nation and we will not get any harmful effect of any misleading. Now, After the composing of the speeches. It depends upon the PM, How he/she deliver the speech and attract the audience. We know how effective #Modi delivered his speech in US. Do you think if same speech were delivered by former indian PM Manmohan Singh instead of Modi, will effective or not?? I think not, we hear Manmohan Singh for past 10 Years but he has no any such great speech. I know he is mastermind of Economics and I respect him whatever he did for India. :)

Facebook win the Global legal appeal to collect data on nonmembers in Belgium.

Image
Facebook won an appeal in a Brussels court Wednesday in a case that pitted it against the Belgian Privacy Commission. An earlier ruling had ordered Facebook to stop using cookies, which are small bits of software that track website activity, to collect data on non-members. The win means Facebook can resume the practice. In the meantime, Facebook had blocked non registered members from the site's public pages. The Belgian privacy watchdog group, which originally brought the case in June 2015, said it will appeal that decision. That marks a victory for the U.S. company, which staunchly maintained that only the  Irish Data Protection Commissioner  has jurisdiction over how it uses Europeans' data. The court ruled in favour of the regulator and ordered  Facebook  to stop tracking non-Facebook users when they visited a Facebook page or face a 250,000 euros ($277,000) daily fine. Facebook  appealed the ruling. In the meantime it said it would comply and stop using the s

China Says: Won’t allow India into NSG unless it signs NPT !!

China  maintains its opposition  to India joining a group of nations seeking to prevent the proliferation of nuclear weapons by controlling access to sensitive technology, said the head of the arms control department in China's Foreign Ministry.  The Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) met this week in Seoul, but China said it would not bend the rules and allow India membership as it had not signed the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), the main global arms control pact.  "Applicant countries must be signatories of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of nuclear weapons (NPT)," Wang Qun, the head of arms control department in China's Foreign Ministry, was quoted as saying in Seoul on Thursday night.  "This is a pillar, not something that China set. It is universally recognized by the international community," Wang said according to a statement released by the Chinese foreign ministry on Friday.  China is  leading opposition  to a push by the Un

New Prime Minister of Britain will Be not chosen by Election !!

Image
For the first time in history of Politics, Britain's Prime Minister will not be chosen by a general election, or by MPs, but by party activists -  as the New Statesman reported back in February . Prime Minister David Cameron announced his resignation this morning, after Britain voted to leave the EU against his wishes. "We should have a new Prime Minister in place by the Conservative party conference in October," Cameron said. The new Prime Minister will be chosen by a Conservative party leadership election. This election will have two parts: Firstly, Conservative MPs elect two candidates. After these two candidates have been chosen, a postal ballot will be sent out to all Conservative party members, on a "one member, one vote" basis. The winner of this vote will then become the next Prime Minister. That means that 149,800 Tory activists ( according to the latest House of Commons Library data ) - around 0.002% of the UK population - will cho
