Why in Some Countries still using Internet Explorer the Most ?;

Image
Although Microsoft has announced officially that they will not help to the users of IE8, 9 or 10. It means there will be no security updates for these versions of Internet Explorer. Only IE 11 will get security updates till they need. As Microsoft has launched the star of Windows 10, i.e. the Edge browser. But still there is some systems, websites, banks & even countries using Internet Explorer. Taking an example, Korea; It is the technological developed country. The Internet speed is amezing & every where 4G LTE available. But there is also a drawback of technology. The govt of Korea still made bound to use Internet Explorer to their people. Some banks, credit card providers & transaction sites are still using IE. If some payment site tries to implement some different system other than IE, the Banks & Credit Cards servers will not accept their transactions. They call it " Unsafe" for transaction. Even users also face so many problems like if someone usi

You Won’t Believe How Much Microsoft Paid To Buy LinkedIn! Check It Out!

On Monday, LinkedIn Corporation and Microsoft Corp announced about entering into an agreement under which LinkedIn would be acquired by Microsoft at a cost of  $196 per share  in an all-cash transaction, the value of which was  $26.2 billion i.e. Rs 1,75,802 Crore , inclusive of the net cash of LinkedIn. LinkedIn would be retaining its independence, culture and distinct brand. Jeff Weiner would maintain his CEO position in LinkedIn and would report to Microsoft’s CEO, Satya Nadella. This transaction is completely supported by Weiner and Reid Hoffman, the controlling shareholder, co-founder and chairman of the board of LinkedIn. It is expected that the transaction would be closing this calendar year. LinkedIn is the largest professional network all across the globe and last year, it had launched a mobile application, which increased member engagement. Then it acquired Lynda.com, an online learning platform. All this had led to increased membership. Nadella stated that, “The L

Your Mobiles & Computers will not function good after year 2038

Here is a huge bug found , which will occurs problem for computing devices & Smart Systems like Smart Mobile, Computer OS & Unix based 32-bit all the applications.  The  Year 2038 problem  is an issue for computing and data storage situations in which time values are stored or calculated as a  signed 32-bit integer , and this number is interpreted as the number of seconds since 00:00:00  UTC  on 1 January 1970 ("the  epoch ").  Such implementations cannot encode times after 03:14:07 UTC on 19 January 2038, a problem similar to but not entirely analogous to the " Y2K problem " (also known as the "Millennium Bug"), in which 2-digit values representing the number of years since 1900 could not encode the year 2000 or later. Most  32-bit   Unix-like  systems store and manipulate time in this " Unix time " format, so the year 2038 problem is sometimes referred to as the " Unix Millennium Bug " by association. Facebook and Microsoft are building a giant technology under the sea

Image
Facebook and Microsoft team up to lay a massive internet cable across the Atlantic!! A 4,100-mile cable capable of 160 terabits per second.     T he companies deal with a tremendous amount of data every day, whether it's showing photos to Facebook's 1.6 billion users, or loading documents stored in Microsoft's cloud services. Instead of solely relying on telecom companies for bandwidth, they're taking matters into their own hands. Called MAREA, Spanish for "tide," the cable will offer speeds of up to 160 terabytes per second, making it the highest capacity cable running this route, according to the companies. It's not the first time consumer tech companies have branched out into infrastructure.  Google  has been busy building its Google Fiber business to bring broadband connections to U.S. cities.  Facebook    and Google are working on experimental tools like giant balloons and laser-equipped drones to bring internet to underserved locations.

Toughest question asked in the Microsoft Interview!!!

Image
This question was asked to one of NIT student in his campus placement interview with Microsoft. Interviewer :  Ok, so one last question. A right triangle has a hypotenuse equal to 10 and an altitude to the hypotenuse equal to 6. Find the area of the triangle.  The guy  started thinking  'Why would a software company ask a geometry question and that too such a trivial one! Maybe it is a trick question!? Maybe it isn't a trick question and he just wants me to think otherwise so that I would screw up even this paltry question!?'   He contemplated for a while and answered: Student :  Sir, as area of any  triangle is 0.5*base*height, the answer to this question would be 0.5 *10*6 which evaluates to 30! Interviewer :  Are you sure? Think about it again! *My friend thought for a while and replied with full confidence* Student :  Yes sir, I am sure the area of triangle is 30. You are just messing up with my brain to make me think otherwise so that I would commit e
