While the MLA denied the incident and the authenticity of the Whatsapp chat could not be independently verified by us, posters of the online chat were pasted across Talcher. According to the contents of the posters, the girl – a 19 years old college student – had approached the MLA seeking an employment opportunity for her father who had been laid off from Bhusan. The MLA, however, asked the girl to spend a night with him in exchange for getting a job for her father. Even though the girl pointed out that she is young enough to be his daughter, the MLA replied back saying that is none of an issue.  Next day, the girl initiated another round of chat with the MLA wherein she consented to his proposal and the MLA said that he would send a vehicle to her college on 22 to pic

10 things you should never do on your first job;

Image
Your first job is the stepping stone to a bright career. Here are 10 things you should NOT do to ruin your chances. 1.  Being cocky You may have been a university topper and were most likely your teacher’s pet. But the moment you stepped out of the gates of your institution, know that none of it really matters. Your mark sheets and certificates can only get you a job. And while your teachers would have been happy to cut you some slack because of your academic performance and ignore your cockiness there’s a good chance your boss won’t do the same. If you must be cocky, earn the right to it. 2. Posting updates about work on social media While this holds true at every stage of your career, it becomes absolutely crucial when you’re in your first job. Almost everyone these days is on social media websites and it only takes a click of a button or a tap of a screen to read what you’ve been posting there. Well, cortisol is th

Twinkle Slams Naseeruddin For Calling Her Late Father Rajesh Khanna a 'Poor Actor!'

Image
Late Rajesh Khanna enjoyed the stardom in Bollywood in the 70s like no other actor would have dreamt of. The King of Romance had delivered back-to-back hits, enjoying immense fan-following and love and adulation from all quarters. However, actor Naseeruddin Shah feels otherwise, blaming that late Rajesh Khanna introduced mediocrity in Hindi films in the 1970s! In an interview with a popular daily, Naseer quoted, “It was the 70’s when mediocrity came in Hindi films. That’s when the actor called Rajesh Khanna joined the industry. For all his success, I think Mr Khanna was a very limited actor. In fact, he was a poor actor. Intellectually, he wasn’t the most alert person I have ever met. His taste ruled the industry.“ Rajesh Khanna’s daughter, Twinkle, an active columnist, didn’t take lightly to this remark and blasted Naseeruddin on Twitter with a terse reply. She posted - "Sir if u can’t respect the living ,respect the dead-mediocrity is attacking a man who can’t respond @

Kickass Torrents was the world's most popular torrent site - even bigger than The Pirate Bay.  But the site has been taken down, and its alleged operator arrested . The criminal complaint against KickassTorrents and its alleged operator includes a chart that shows the cinema release dates of popular movies, the date they appeared on KickassTorrents, and the DVD release date. For every single movie, KickassTorrents managed to release a version weeks before the DVD was in stores, often just days after the films were screened in cinemas. "Warcraft" isn't out on DVD yet, but it was posted on Kickasstorrents shortly after appearing in the cinema. Microsoft's Digital Assistant, Cortana, Is Now on Android, iOS;

Image
Android and iOS users can now add a little bit more Microsoft to their devices, as the company said its digital personal assistant, Cortana, will be available for download later today. The application, which has been in closed beta for months, will allow users to accomplish many of the things that Google Now or Siri do. One of the key differences, however, is that Cortana will be highly connected with other Windows 10 devices. Information on a user's other Windows devices, like weather or travel, will reflect across that person's other Windows devices, the company said. Cortana users will be able to do other things, too, like track packages or flight information. The application can also alert a user's tablet or PC if they've missed a call, Microsoft said. Additionally, Cortana will also be connected to Cyanogen, an open source firmware that is based on the Android operating system. That means Android users can say "Hey Cortana" and then issue

Shocking: Michael Jackson wanted to marry 12-year-old girl;

King of Pop Michael Jackson became infatuated with his British god-daughter when she was just five years old, his doctor claims. By the time she was 12, the twisted Thriller star was so obsessed with the little girl that he was determined to marry her as soon as possible. But he also fell for movie star Emma Watson when she was an 11-year-old Harry Potter actress – and announced that if he couldn’t have his first choice he’d wed her instead. The extraordinary claims are made in an explosive new book by the singer’s personal physician, Dr Conrad Murray. It casts an astonishing light on the bizarre, dark world of the 400 million-record selling megastar, who died of a prescription drugs overdose in 2009. Murray, 63, claims Jacko confided in him about his crush on little Harriet, the daughter of his close friend, former Oliver! child actor Mark Lester, 58. “Michael fell in love with Harriet when she was roughly five years old,” Murray writes in This Is It – named after the
