This is not a drill: There's going to be a remake of 'Andaz Apna Apna'

Hold up everyone. A remake of  Andaz Apna Apna  is happening. After there was much talk about roping in Salman Khan and Aamir Khan to remake their cult classic film  Andaz Apna Apna , Phantom Films has actually gone ahead and put action to words. The rights of the film is with one Preeti Sinha, who is the daughter of producer Vinay Sinha who also financed the original. According to  Mumbai Mirror , she has given the rights to Phantom Films and will be collaborating with them on the project. A source tells  Mirror , "It will be an in-house director at the helm, if not Vikas Bahl, it will be Vikramaditya Motwane." The script for the film has been locked, and no other details have been revealed. Andaz Apna Apna  was released in 1994, and didn't immediately do well at the box office. Is Amitabh Bachhan's upcoming film is a remake of 'Montage', a 2013 South Korean thriller. The award-winning film is about woman who is in search of her kidnapped daughter. The trailer of the forthcoming Hindi film 'Te3n', which was launched recently, has generated curiosity among cine goers. Viewers are keen to see how this Amitabh Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer, set in Kolkata, will unravel on screen. However, it has also made movie aficionados draw parallels with 'Montage', a 2013 South Korean thriller. The award-winning film is about woman who is in search of her kidnapped daughter.
