Sultan trailer aout salman khan, anushka sharma, randeep hooda..things about sultan

Here's what the critics are saying about Sultan, starring Salman Khan, Anushka Sharma, Amit Sadh and Randeep Hooda:

Firstpost
Despite several flaws and clichés, Sultan has an emotional core that is hard to resist. Writer-director Zafar is clever in the way he uses his actors, the innate poignancy of his story and Vishal-Shekhar's songs to create a moving whole. Even when Jag ghoomeya is abruptly and awkwardly inserted into the narrative, the tune and words do not lose their appeal. And the very well choreographed MMA (mixed martial arts) scenes in the second half are spot on. Read the complete movie review here.

‘Sultan’ has Salman Khan breaking free from Bhai-giri bondage by getting his character to crack and bleed. His down-and-out wrestler has foibles. He is fallible and human. Ali Abbas Zafar's Sultan is a thorough crowd-pleaser. The film is a cocktail of sportsmanship, drama, romance, patriotism... heavily spiced with the factor called Salman Khan. A superstar vehicle that blends the earthiness of the akhada with the flamboyance of the mixed martial arts ring, Ali Abbas Zafar's 'Sultan' is certainly not the last word in the sports film genre. But it definitely is an entertainment package crafted for maximum mass impact. Read the complete movie review here.

Aditya Chopra’s screenplay ensures Sultan has all the popular ingredients and Khan’s superstardom is the cherry on the cake. His fans wouldn’t mind if his accent is not up to the mark and other characters are not given the chance to spread their wings because the heavy dose of popular mainstream Bollywood is enough to do the tricks. Desimartini
Sultan is part Dabangg, part Brothers. You see Salman on screen, acting and pulling off a wrestler's role. But that is it. You don't see the character Sultan Ali Khan. The storyline is pretty obvious, and every single thing in the film is predictable and stretched out. Read the complete movie review here.
