Nov 8, a historic day for India with the great movement taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with demonetizing the 1000 & 500 currency notes. Also on that day the new note of Rs. 2000  & 500 has been introduced to the Indian currency system. This is also a very huge move.

There is also a huge support from throughout the country & also some opposition from interesting peoples. But those are like ants in front of elephants. The whole India welcomed this as it's a almost first & aggressive move by India Govt against black money & financial crisis of the country. As per me if the mission of govt will successful, may be India will counted in Developed countries.

But here is how to identify the originality of 2000 rs note. As terrorist groups & some anti social will try to make it's duplicate as before. 


Step 1: See-through register with denominational numeral 2000.
Step 2: You can find the latent image with denominational numeral 2000.
Step 3: Verify the denominational numeral २००० in Devanagari.
Step 4: Look for the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi at the centre.
Step 5: There are micro letters 'RBI' and '2000' on the left side of the banknote.
Step 6: There will be a windowed security thread with inscriptions 'भारत', RBI and 2000 on banknotes with colour shift. Colour of the thread changes from green to blue when the note is tilted.
Step 7: Look for the Guarantee Clause, Governor's signature with Promise Clause and RBI emblem towards right.
Step 8: Verify that the denominational numeral with Rupee Symbol, '2000' in colour changing ink (green to blue) on bottom right.
Step 9: There are Ashoka Pillar emblem on the right, Mahatma Gandhi portrait and electrotype (2000) watermarks.
Step 10: See if the number panel with numerals are growing from small to big on the top left side and bottom right side.


Turn over the note to verify these markers: (reverse side verification)
Step 1: Year of printing of the note is on the left.
Step 2: Swachh Bharat logo with slogan on the left.
Step 3: Language panel is located towards the centre.
Step 4 Motif of Mangalayan covers most part of the rear side of the note.
Step 5: Finally, the denomination numeral in Devanagari २००० is on right.  


Help the visually impaired to identify the fake Rs. 2,000 notes from real ones with these three simple steps:
Step 1: The Mahatma Gandhi portrait, Ashoka Pillar emblem, bleed lines and identity mark have raised printing (intaglio).
Step 2: The horizontal rectangle with '2000' are in raised print on the right.
Step 3: Seven angular bleed lines on left and right side are in raised print.
Honourable mention: The Rs 2,000 currency note measures 66mm x 166mm. If you have a measuring tape handy, verifying the dimensions wouldn't do any harm. Better safe than sorry.
